Rishijeet (Rishi ) Konde

Rishi left his home in India to come to Melbourne and study Sports Management at Deakin University in Melbourne and joined Bayside Warriors in 2022.

Although he played competitively at High School and University level in India, Rishi’s true passion is coaching. Starting out in 2016, he took on various roles coaching at schools and academies, all the while finding the time and energy to complete his bachelor’s degree in Engineering (IT).

Since arriving in Melbourne, Rishi has quickly immersed himself in the basketball community and can be found anywhere there’s basketball in the Port Phillip region. The man is a true hoops tragic - in addition to his work with Bayside Warriors, he also coaches with Chase Basketball, has a head coaching role in the Melbourne Tigers representative program and referees at MSAC!
