JP Davis

​

JP brings elite international playing and coaching experience to Bayside Warriors. His basketball journey began at IMG Academy where he earned All American honours before playing college basketball in the United States. He later competed professionally across Europe Latin America Dubai and Australia including opportunities with the Washington Wizards Summer League and the NBA G League.

 

In Australia JP has combined professional playing with high level coaching and athlete development. He currently serves as Head Assistant Coach for the Sunbury Jets Big V Championship Men’s program and has coached state teams at national level. His experience also includes NCAA NBA and Nike Elite development environments working with athletes across multiple pathways.

 

Outside basketball JP works in education and leadership. He currently serves as Executive Director of Basketball at Maribyrnong Sports Academy leading high performance player development within a school setting. He also holds a Master’s degree in Teaching and is completing a PhD in Sports Leadership.

At Bayside Warriors JP brings a professional approach to development. His sessions focus on fundamentals decision making and helping players perform under pressure.
