Nick Nguyen​

 

With a rich international basketball journey as both player and coach, Nick Nguyen brings global experience and deep leadership skills to the Bayside Warriors. Born in Vietnam, Nick has played in national youth tournaments, the Vietnam Basketball Association (Saigon Heat), and high school basketball in the United States—including seasons in Oklahoma and New Hampshire. He currently plays and coaches in Melbourne’s AIBA league with VietReapers Basketball Club.

Nick’s coaching career is equally diverse. He has led high school teams in Vietnam’s top secondary leagues, run elite camps across the U.S. East Coast—including pre-draft training for NBA prospects—and currently heads the VietReapers program in Victoria. His coaching style blends competitive intensity with a strong educational foundation, developed through years as a science educator and youth mentor.

At Bayside Warriors, Nick focuses on developing disciplined, high-IQ players who excel both on and off the court. His global playing background and ability to connect with young athletes make him an asset to every program he leads.
