Program Overview

Our Rep Development (Rep Dev) program provides a high-performance pathway for players striving to reach the Representative Basketball (VJBL) level.

As an advanced domestic basketball club, we developed this program in response to growing demand and the limited number of representative team spots available across Victoria.

Who the Program Suits
This program is ideal for:
-
Players who have trialed for rep but were not selected
-
Players who have previously played rep and are looking to return

How It Works
Rep Dev teams train weekly and play games on Friday nights, mirroring the VJBL experience. Each player joins a team that operates as a ‘second team’ alongside their Saturday domestic team—just like most rep players.

Our experienced coaches identify each player’s individual skill gaps and focus on the areas that matter most for rep selection: skill, attitude, behaviour, teamwork, and game IQ. Every player receives tailored feedback and a personalised development plan in preparation for rep tryouts (held annually in September/October).

Key Inclusions

Weekly Friday night training and games (rep-style structure)
-
An alternative night may be scheduled if a suitable Friday competition is unavailable
